How I Became a Digital Marketing Specialist

I'm Naveen — born and raised in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. My journey into digital marketing began with a deep curiosity about how businesses grow online — specifically, how search engines decide who ranks and who doesn't. That curiosity turned into a career, and over the past 7+ years, it's become a craft I'm genuinely passionate about.

I started in an online marketing role where I learned the foundations — SEO, web development, graphic design, and social media. I quickly realised that the businesses achieving the best results weren't just doing more of everything — they were being strategic. That insight shaped my entire approach: every project I take on starts with understanding the business goal first, then building the strategy to reach it.

Over the years I've worked with clients across New Zealand, UAE, UK, India, USA, and Australia — from agency environments managing 110+ concurrent client accounts at FatWeb Limited in Auckland, to building international multi-brand websites for Joseph Group in Dubai, to executing enterprise B2B SEO for The VoIP Shop in London. Each engagement taught me something new about different markets, industries, and what actually moves the needle for organic growth.

I hold an MBA in Digital Marketing from Andhra University and carry 9 professional certifications across Google Analytics, HubSpot Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, SEO, LinkedIn Marketing, and AI. My proudest professional achievement remains earning the "Best SEO Employee" award — recognition for leading a strategy that delivered a 200% increase in organic traffic for key clients.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about health, fitness, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Regular walking, mindful eating, and personal discipline aren't just habits — they're the same kind of long-term thinking I bring to every SEO strategy. Results don't happen overnight, but consistent, well-executed work compounds over time. That's true in life and in search rankings.
